HS Band Calendar 2006-2007 Marching Band rehearsals will be Tuesday nights 6-9pm, Wednesdays 3-5 pm, and Thursdays 2:45-5:30 pm. SYMPHONIC BAND extra rehearsals are Wednesday nights if
needed in January and February, 6:30-8:30 pm. RED/GOLD BAND sectionals after school will be posted
after November – at least two weeks’ notice will be given where possible. JAZZ ENSEMBLE will begin on Mondays in the fall and
continue on a Monday/Thursday schedule after the completion of marching band through the rest of the
year. JAZZ LAB/COMBOS will begin on Wednesdays 2nd quarter, based on enrollment demand. Attendance at all performances and rehearsals is
mandatory, as per FCPS and school policy. Please make every attempt to schedule doctor’s
appointments on Monday evenings or Tuesday afternoons during marching season. Driver’s Education In-Car
driving, jobs, or non-school activities are NOT excusable absences. Please plan accordingly.
